News of year 2009

• International Relations Office wish Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the students, RSHU staff and our collaborators!
• Prof. Gennady Tarakanov’s Memorial Stock of Periodicals and Books on meteorology was opened on 7th of December 2009 in the Russian State Hydrometeorological University library.
• An honored worker of science in the Russian Federation, prof. L.T. Matveev died on 30th of November 2009 at the age of 89 years.
• "Eco-friendly Dredging in the Modern World" seminar was succesfully held in Saint-Petersburg.
• The Third International Conference “Problems of Teaching the History of the Second World War” is going to be conducted in St. Petersburg.
• RSHU students have participated in summer course "Role of Organic Aerosols in Cloud Formation" by University of Helsinki.
• This July Russian State Hydrometeorological University and the Estonian Meteorological and Hydrological Institute organized summer practice for 2nd-year students, studing Hydrometeorology at eurogroups.
• The Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Region Exchange Program (Visby Program) hereby invites you to the seminar "Science and Education for Sustainable Development — Networking in the Baltic Sea Region".
• The 3rd ICAR Conference, will bring together scientists, oceanographers, policy makers, representatives of private companies and NGO's concerned with marine affairs and technology.
• Bachelor students were graduated from Russian State Hydrometeorological University and succesfully passes the final exams.
