Final state exam and Bachelor thesis presentations
Since 1997 Bachelors in Hydrometeorology (Eurogroup) study at Meteorological Department of Russian State Hydrometeorological University. This Eurogroup is teached according to the program of Educational Department of World Meteorological Society. Approximately 60% of educational courses students study in english.
There were a final state exam and Bachelor's thesis presentation on 28,29 of May 2009 for MA-446 Eurogroup.
The final state exam and thesis presentation were in english in the face of State examination board. Examination board consisted on leading experts in Hydrometeorology: Momadu Saho, Head of Educational Dapartment World Meteorological Organization and Dr. Bob Riddaway, General Secretary of Royal Meteorological Society and adviser of European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts.
R. W. Riddaway, Chairman of the Examination Commission, has made the following comments.
All Bachelor students were graduated from Russian State Hydrometeorological University and succesfully passes the final exams. They've received certificates, which make Bachelor's Diploma recognized at all countries — WMO members (188 countries).
All Bachelors are planning to do a Master course in RSHU.
