Prof. Gennady Tarakanov’s Memorial Stock of Periodicals and Books on meteorology was opened on 7th of December 2009 in the Russian State Hydrometeorological University library.
The stock is founded with the beneficent help of Royal Meteorological Society of Great Britain and personally Robert Riddaway, general secretary of the Royal Meteorological Society of Great Britain, consultant of ECMWF.
