The application period for student exchanges during the academic year
2016-2017 has now started and we are looking forward to welcoming your
students to Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, field of
technology. Please find attached information about the application
process. Please note especially information below regarding exchange
student intake and possible studies.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Please nominate the students chosen for student exchange at Metropolia
by sending us by e-mail their names and email addresses. THE APPLICATION
PERIOD STARTS ONLINE ON 15 MARCH AND IT ENDS ON 1 MAY 2015. In this
application period it is possible to apply for autumn semester 2016 or
academic year 2016-2017. Please remind your students to fill in the
electronic application well in time and please note that we cannot
accept late applications.
EXCHANGE STUDENT INTAKE
PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME DEGREE PROGRAMS / COURSES / SEMESTERS HAVE
LIMITATIONS TO THE INTAKE FOR INCOMING EXCHANGE STUDENTS.
ACADEMIC CALENDAR AND STUDIES
Please find attached information about the application process, academic
calendar, orientation days and studies in English for incoming exchange
students to the field of technology. Please note that incoming exchange
students can only choose courses from the field of technology degree
programmes where tuition is organised in English. PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES
MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN THE DEGREE PROGRAMMES DUE TO ORGANISATIONAL
DEVELOPMENT AND CURRICULA CHANGES.
SUMMER SCHOOL 2016
The Degree Programme in Information and Communication_ _Technology
organises a Summer School in August 2016, for the 16th time. There are
no tuition fees for the courses for students of Metropolia's partner
universities. More information about the courses in the Summer School
can be found by April 2016.
All courses are taught in English.
