On 24 January 2011 special meeting of universities representors was held. In the framework of the russian delegation official visit there was discussed cooperation program for 2011. It was decided to hold a jont conference on russian-spanish cooperation, joint academic mobility programmes were agreed by both parties, confirmed plan for specialist exchange training of International Relations Departments of both universities.
As one of the problems for discussion was summer school organization on the basis of University of Cadiz in 2011 for RSHU 2nd year students of Faculty of Oceanography. Development of Spanish-Russian University Centre on the basis of IRO RSHU have been discussed also.
