International Conference “Atmosphere, Ionosphere and Safety”7—12 July 2008 Kaliningrad Atmosphere, Ionosphere, Safety (AIS-2008) AIS-2008 will promote the analysis of the atmosphere-ionosphere system response on the natural and anthropogenic processes, cause and effect of different concomitant geophysical phenomena, and the estimation of its effect on mankind and technological systems. The final outlet is the possibility of monitoring and subsequent reduction of the risk level. It is supposed also to discuss physical and chemical processes accompanying the visible geophysical phenomena. Topical themes: • Elementary processes in the upper atmosphere and ionosphere • Dynamics of atmosphere aerosols • Electromagnetic and optical phenomena in the atmosphere including long-lived and plasma objects • Ionosphere dynamics and atmosphere - ionosphere coupling • Information systems of the environment monitoring and the accident prevention In the framework of the section P "10th International Symposium on Ball Lightning (ISBL-08)" and "3d International Symposium on Unconventional Plasmas (ISUP-08)" will take place. The Conference will include morning sessions with invited plenary and keynote lectures (40 min), afternoon sessions with accepted orals (20 min) and three evening poster sessions with short oral presentations (2-3 min).
