CALL FOR INTERNSHIPS
The International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) offers internships to qualified individuals wishing to gain work experience in a policy-oriented research institute. Tasks and responsibilities of the interns will include editing of scientific publications, research assistance, and event support, inter alia.Eligibility
• Applicants must hold at least a first degree (Bachelor or equivalent) preferably in social or political sciences and should be able to demonstrate an interest in issues related to the Black Sea region.
• Familiarity with standard ICT applications (Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.) as well as excellent knowledge of English are indispensable.
• Experience with editing is desirable.
• Familiarity with other IT applications (databases, website management) would be an advantage.
• Applications are encouraged by persons who also speak Albanian, Armenian, Azeri, Bulgarian, Georgian, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Turkish or Ukrainian.

Duration
The internships are expected to start on 13 October 2008 and last for 3-10 months. Interns will receive a stipend and a reference letter.
