English Course in RSHU
Anna Kuhmonen, teacher from University of Helsinki, has visited Russian State Hydrometeorological University. The aim of this visit was holding of English course for RSHU students. The duration of the course was approximately 3 month. The English course was directed to learning of spoken environmental english language.The course was supporting by CIMO (Centre for International Mobility). Anna Kuhmonen have wun grant by CIMO.
During the English course 2 groups were formed — elementary and intermediate level of knowlegde. All persons concerned can participate in the course and mainly students of Department of Oceanography of Russian State Hydrometeorological University. The lessons were carried out in the second bilding of RSHU every Wednesday and Thursday.
N.L. Plink was responsible person of the English course. Staff of Russian State Hydrometeorological University and International Relations Office help to provide the course.
It is planning to hold a similar English course at Department of Ecology of Russian State Hydrometeorological University in September 2009. Hanna Mikkonen is going to provide the English course for RSHU students.
