Enviro-HIRLAM courseThe NetFAM and DMI organised an Enviro-HIRLAM course "Environment - HIgh Resolution Limited Area Model (Enviro-HIRLAM)" in Copenhagen, Denmark, 26-31 January 2009.The local organizers were Alexander Baklanov and Alexander Mahura. Four students of Russian State Hydrometeorological University participated in the course. They are Iakov Gontsov (Master student),Julia Gavrilova (Master student), Irina Petrova (3d year student), Anna Filippenko (4th year student). The aim of the course was to join NWP and climate modellers dealing with Enviro-HIRLAM model in order to share their experience, to discuss challenging problems, strategy of further development, tasks and plans.
