May 20, 2016 the delegation of Ningbo University of Technology, headed by the rector of the University Lv Zhongda, visited RSHU to enhance educational and scientific cooperation. The delegation included Wang Bo - Associate Professor, Director of Technology and Business Department, the Department of international cooperation of Ningbo University of Technology, Huge Jile - Associate Professor, Economics and Management College of Ningbo University of Technology, Ju Zhanfeng - Dean of the College of Economics and Management of Ningbo University of Technology. Russian State Hydrometeorological University was represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Alexey Krylov , Vice-Rector for Development Denis Leontev , representatives of the International Relations Office, members of the faculty of Information Systems and Geotechnology.
After the presentations of universities open discussion was held on possible areas of cooperation in joint research and education, as a result of the negotiations, Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ningbo University of Technology (PRC) and Russian State Hydrometeorological University (Russia) was signed.
