May 19, 2016 Director of ARCUS Association Christina Creek visited RSHU. Meetings were held with the university administration, represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alexey Krylov and Vice-Rector for Development Denis Leontyev . She held a seminar –presentation of Arctic Research Association "ARCUS". More than 50 people have been the listeners of presentation and actively asked questions about the prospects of international scientific cooperation in the Arctic, opportunities to participate in international joint research for the staff and students of Russian State Hydro meteorological University.
ARCUS - Arctic Research Association of the United States founded in 1988 in Alaska. It specializes in a wide range of development issues in the Arctic region, and climate change. ARCUS brings together universities and research institutions of the United States, Canada, Germany, Finland, and Sweden. RSHU is a member of the ARCUS Association since 2016.
