A group of students from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences visited RSHU
On March 19th, 2013, a group of students from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences visited RSHU. Students became familiar with the main areas of university education, international exchange programs (ERANET-MUNDUS) and research activities at the university. RSHU students also shared experiences of participation in volunteer programs in meteorology for preparation to Winter Olympics in Sochi 2014 and introduced international projects in the frameworks of the European geographical Students Association for geographers and young researchers EGEA-St. Petersburg.

After visiting the university, there was a reception at the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg, where the students were introduced to the spheres of Russian-Finnish cooperation, with the peculiarities of working with Russian companies and doing business in Russia, as well as with the scientific, educational and research activities of Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
During the informal part of the meeting Russian students were able to communicate with their Finnish counterparts.
